From Stirling Castle to Loch Lomond, Glencoe to Great Glen, you’ll get to see Scotland’s most picturesque sights. At Fort Augustus, enjoy a boat trip on Loch Ness, visit historic Urquhart Castle and discover the historical sites such as Clava Cairns, Culloden Battlefield and the majestic ruins of Elgin Cathedral, Brodie Castle or the formidable Fort George.

Your luxury journey continues through Aviemore, the Highland Folk Museum (sampling a wee dram or two at Dalwhinnie Distillery) and enjoying the unique charm of Dunkeld.

Itinerary

Day 1
Edinburgh to Oban
Stirling Castle → Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park → Luss → Inveraray → Loch Awe → Kilchurn Castle → Oban

Day 1:
Your local guide will whisk you away from the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh to the tranquility of Scotland’s landscape.

The first landmark you’ll see is the historic Stirling Castle upon its rock, before heading to the serenity of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Whilst here, you’ll have a chance to explore the picturesque village of Luss.

From here, your driver-guide will take you to Inverary for a leisurely lunch before venturing to Loch Awe and admiring the ruins of Kilchurn Castle before arriving for you first night in Oban - the Seafood Capital of Scotland.

Day 2
Glencoe and Glenfinnan

Day 2:
Marvel at the scenery of Scotland, as your driver takes you through the deep valleys and towering mountains of Glencoe.

On the way to Mallaig, you can take a moment to pause and take in the beauty of your surroundings (and perhaps a spot of lunch) before moving through the stunning Sands of Morar.

From here, your guide will take you to Glenfinnan where a monument to the first Jacobite uprising stands on the shores of Loch Shiel. This village is also home to the Glenfinnan Viaduct – made famous by the Harry Potter movies.

Spend your next night in Fort William, also known as the gateway to Ben Nevis.

Day 3:
Journey through the magnificent Great Glen to reach Fort Augustus, where a choice awaits. Opt for a tranquil cruise on Loch Ness — keeping an eye out for 'Nessie' — paired with a visit to the romantic ruins of Urquhart Castle on the loch's shores.

Alternatively, enjoy an exclusive boat tour before heading off to meet and feed some of Scotland's beloved hairy coos. Round off the day with an overnight stay in Inverness.

Your day starts with a wee bit of history, visiting Clava Cairns and Culloden Battlefield, followed by a visit to the awe-inspiring Elgin Cathedral.

After a relaxing lunch in Elgin – or any one of the surrounding areas – you have the option to explore Brodie Castle or the historic Fort George, before spending your final night in Inverness.

On your final day, you’ll delve into Scotland’s heritage at the Highland Folk Museum before passing by Dalwhinnie Distillery for a wee dram.

Next you’ll visit The Hermitage in Dunkeld for an enchanting walk before before passing through Pitlochry.

The grand finale takes you to The Hermitage in Dunkeld, before heading back to Edinburgh city and your drop off location, leaving you with cherished memories of your time in Scotland.
