Itinerary
Hotel Pick-up
Your own personal guide will pick you up right outside your hotel, usually arriving 10 minutes before your tour begins, ensuring a warm and seamless start to your experience.
Stirling Castle
Your guide will point out Stirling Castle, sitting high on Castle Hill. You'll be driven right up to the gates, where you can take in a spectacular view over the City of Stirling. Upon entering the castle, you'll be met with costumed characters who will transport you back to 16th-century life, showing you what the castle would have looked like during Mary, Queen of Scots' childhood. Stirling Castle is arguably one of the most significant places in Mary Stewart's history. Aged just nine months, Mary was crowned Queen of Scots — the ceremony was conducted in September 1543 in the Chapel Royal of Stirling Castle, and was the first time the Honours of Scotland were used.
Callander
Known as the Gateway to the Highlands, Callander is an extremely pretty tourist town. Bursting with coffee shops, gift shops – and of course a fantastic whisky shop – the first stop on this tour will get you ready for everything that's to come. You can also take a stroll along the River Teith, which flows along the edge of the town, with spectacular views of Ben Ledi and the Crags behind the town.
The Spectacular Scenery of Duke's Pass
Possibly one of Scotland's most beautiful drives, Duke's Pass will lead you through the winding hills of the Trossachs.
The Historic Village of Aberfoyle
Pass by the charming village of Aberfoyle, nestled on the banks of the River Forth, within the magnificent Queen Elizabeth Forest Park.
Lunch
Your guide will provide you with a variety of lunch options, ensuring there's something to suit every taste and dietary preference.
Loch Lomond & the Village of Luss
Picture-perfect, the village of Luss is somewhere everyone has to see when visiting Scotland. With its quaint little houses and loch-side location, it's one of the prettiest villages imaginable. Walk along the pier and have your picture taken with views of Ben Lomond in the backdrop.
The Beautiful Village of Balmaha
One of the best places to marvel at the waters of Loch Lomond, Balmaha is a beautiful spot. Get your picture taken next to the Tom Weir Statue, with his trademark bobble hat. Tom Weir was one of Scotland's most famous climbers, TV presenters and authors. There's also a fantastic coffee shop if you fancy a wee coffee and cake!
