Itinerary
Hotel Pick-up
Your own personal guide will pick you up right outside your hotel, usually arriving 15 minutes before your tour begins.
Calton Hill
Also known as Monument Hill, this is a fantastic spot to look over Edinburgh. From here, you'll be able to see Edinburgh Castle, Leith, the Old Town and the New Town.
Dean Village
A true hidden gem, Dean Village is somewhere you might miss if travelling alone. Upon entering Dean Village, you'll be transported into another world, where cobbled streets and quaint houses sit on the banks of the Water of Leith.
New Town
Although not so 'new', the New Town was built in the 1700s to give the wealthy a place to stay away from the crowded Old Town. All through the area, you'll see typical examples of Georgian Townhouses — now classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Old Town & Edinburgh Castle
The Old Town of Edinburgh is perhaps the most famous. Here you'll get to see Edinburgh Castle, the cobbled streets of the Royal Mile, and St Giles' Cathedral.
Lunch
Your guide will provide a selection of lunch options on the day to suit various preferences and dietary needs. Time to relax and refuel before the afternoon highlight.
Arthur's Seat
As we travel through Edinburgh you'll get spectacular views of Arthur's Seat. Your guide will also point out the Scottish Parliament Building and Holyrood Palace — the official residence of King Charles III in Scotland.
Edinburgh Gin Distillery Tour & Tasting Experience
Your day concludes with a highlight: a visit to Edinburgh's premier Gin Distillery, where you'll indulge in a 1-hour Gin Tour & Tasting experience. Guided by an expert, you'll learn all about Gin's historical connection to Edinburgh, the art of Gin creation, and enjoy a tasting of handcrafted gins — each with its own unique character and story.

FAQs
Taken at a relaxed pace, the curated tasting takes you through roughly 5 gins to savour along the way.
Yes, this is a private experience. Only you and the people you choose to bring along will be part of your group.
Because alcohol is served, Scottish licensing law means anyone joining the tastings needs to be 18 or over. Younger guests in your party are still very welcome to come along for the city sightseeing.
That's absolutely fine. There are non-alcoholic options to hand, and since the tour also explores the sights of Edinburgh, everyone has plenty to enjoy beyond the tasting itself.
Usually there's the chance to buy your favourite gins on the day, making a lovely souvenir to carry home from your Edinburgh experience.
