About

Five Sisters of Kintail

The Five Sisters of Pintail, provides one of the most iconic views in Scotland. It is a mountain ridge in the Northwest Highlands and is close to the village of Shiel Bridge. The dramatic peaks rise sharply from the beaches of Loch Duich and are steeped in legend and are popular among hikers due to their challenging yet rewarding ridge trek. The full hike is ideal for seasoned hikers, covering the three Munros and provides sweeping views of glens, lochs, and far-off islands. Even from the roadside, the Five Sisters are stunning, especially at sunrise or sunset.
