How do you get to the Isle of Mull?

Take the CalMac ferry from Oban to Craignure (45 minutes) or from Lochaline to Fishnish (15 minutes). There's also a service from Kilchoan in Ardnamurchan. Book ahead in summer.

Is the Isle of Mull worth visiting?

Mull is one of Scotland's most rewarding islands, with fine scenery, plenty of wildlife, rich history, and ferry links to both Staffa and Iona. Give it at least two or three days to do it justice.

How do you get to the Isle of Mull?

The main route is the CalMac ferry from Oban to Craignure, the island's principal port, which takes 45 minutes. The shorter crossing from Lochaline to Fishnish is just 15 minutes. In summer, booking ahead is strongly recommended.
